FRAGMENTS OF UNUSED TIME
Relja Penezic's FRAGMENTS OF UNUSED TIME are moving images without temporality of his short films. They challenge our expectations when it comes to time-based media and examine interaction between culture and nature, ideals of emptiness and luminosity as well as questions of time. In this work Penezic is trying to reinvent an art of still image that will be more relevant to contemporary audiences. These cinematic and painterly creations are specifically designed for HD television screens and projectors. Soundracks are composed by Victoria Jordanova.
