| PANOPTICON Panopticon is an interdisciplinary piece exploring the "Surveillance Society". Video by Relja Penezic, Music of Victoria Jordanova, actor Jeff Atik, California Ear Unit, history, spy cameras, and audio sensors merge to address issues of privacy in contemporary society. Theatre, music and video melding to create the atmosphere and feeling that in modern surveillance society Big Brother is becoming a Bother. The performance is set as an imaginary chamber music concert ("Surveillance Chamber Music Society") is sponsored by "World Wide Monitor", a make believe surveillance company. The CEO of the "World Wide Monitor" opens the show. The company is celebrating philosopher Jeremy Bentham (1748-1832, London, England), who is the grandfather of "Surveillance Society".
